Once your eye lens is fit and right, then the surgeon cuts a small incision inside you and inserts a new artificial lens within the cornea. The doctor then places a thin film of silicone gel (same kanji) over the eye lens to preserve the moisture and also to improve the oxygen permeability. After that, your surgeon will place an artificial “eyeball” over your eye so that the surgery can be conducted easier and the recovery period wouldn’t be as long. Most importantly, he or she would implant a cataract flap behind the eye (called the ocular pseudogout) so that additional drainage can occur under the eye.
